Through exclusive, invite-only events, the LaunchDTLA network is among the first to experience new DTLA hotels, restaurants, venues, and bars before they are open to the public. LaunchDTLA is a network of connections and relationships based on a primary goal of advocating for downtown Los Angeles. Request your invite for our “no networking allowed” events here.
Founded in 2008 as 2 Jews and a Blonde Dude present the No Networking Allowed Party, the gathering began as an antithesis to the standard networking parties that were growing in DTLA.
Our goal from the beginning was to create an environment for people from downtown Los Angeles, and neighboring cities, to truly see what DTLA has to offer – culturally and socially.
Since its inception in 08, the event has grown exponentially with each successive party garnering more attention and more people, directly mirroring the growth and success of DTLA.
By 2015, what had started as 25 people having cocktails at La Cita had blossomed into 600 people standing around the top occupiable floor of OUE’s US Bank tower drinking crafted cocktails by downtown’s own Cocktail Academy. Yet all the while, we have stayed committed to our mantra of No Networking Allowed in order to break the mold of a typical LA gathering and create something where a great group of diverse individuals can relax and socialize while having an amazing time in an environment of no intention.
Launch DTLA urges all of our friends and family to continue pushing the boundaries for downtown Los Angeles and continue spreading the word of our amazing city. In return, we promise to continue hosting amazing events at gorgeous new venues around town.
DTLA, Let’s party!
